Everyone Wins with Private Label Rights

PostCleanderIcon January 12th, 2010 | PostAuthorIcon Author : admin

Would you believe a person if they told you that it was possible to take another person’s work, change it anyway you please and call the edited material yours?

What if that person also told you that besides being able to do so, you could actually profit from that work and not be liable for any copyright infringement?

If you havent heard of private label rights, then most likely you’d think they were pulling your leg. But all the above are true if you are able secure these rights.

But what are private label rights?

To understand why private label rights are so special, you need to know about resale and master resale first.

Resale rights are simply permission from the owner of a work (a book, for example) to allow you to take the said material and distribute it for your own profit.

Master resale rights take it a step further and allow you to sell the resale rights to the work. The reason why it is called master resale rights is because it covers a large set of permissible actions to the person who acquires those rights.

Experts would tell you that to get the most of your purchasing of master resale rights, the following list of actions should allow you to:
1. give the material away unaltered
2. combine the material with others
3. give the material away as a bonus item
4. use the material a content for websites
5. divide the product into separate articles
6. put the rights for the material or the material itself up for auction
7. provide the material as content for paid membership sites
8. sell resale rights for the material
9. change or alter the material

Buying the whole set of these rights are great but it can cost you. But there is a way to get almost all of these actions and not have to pay as much for master resale rights IF you acquire just the right to change or alter the material, which is exactly what private label rights are.

With these set of rights, you are given permission to change another person’s work. By altering the material, you have made the work your own which then allows you to profit from the material anyway you intend to.

Let’s say you were able to acquire private label rights for a particular ebook. What can you do?

For starters, you can break up the book into separate chapters and then sell these as articles. On the other hand, if you were able to acquire private label rights for a set of articles, you could combine them and package it as a book, which you then can sell.

You can change the material’s content by adding or removing details. You can also add pictures or illustrations as well as other media like sound or video clips.

All of these actions are possible but the best part about private label rights is that you are not obligated to mention the original author (or pay them any royalties) for the changes you have done to his or her material. You can claim the material as yours by putting your name as the author of the material.
With these changes, the ways on capitalizing on them are many.

You can come up with a whole new set of products from a single material source. Take an ebook for example. On one hand, you’ve broken up the book to sell them as articles. On the other, you’ve enhanced the book’s content with media to package it as your own work and putting it up for sale on the market.

Acquiring private label rights are great for creating a brand for your business. As you may already know, one of the keys to a successful business is to distinguish yourself from the rest. With private label rights, you can change the material and make it uniquely yours. If your target market likes your material, your market can perceive you as an expert in your line of business, which is something you can really capitalize on as you sell your products or services.

However, it is not only the person who acquires private label rights who stands to benefit from it. It may be difficult to understand at first, but selling private label rights benefits even the original creator.

With the increasing demand for original material to be sold with private label rights, a writer can make good money from his or her work. The incentive is that he or she can command a higher price for the work given the rights that go with the material.

Furthermore, selling the right to change the material any way the buyer wants is actually giving new life to the material. By giving the buyer the freedom to change the content in a number of creative ways, the material’s usability sand relevance is extended.

By compensating the original content creator well; by allowing freedom and flexibility for the purchaser; and by giving the end user a wealth of very useful information, private label rights are by far one of the best things out there in the world of online marketing.

Keyword Research is Important in Article Marketing

PostCleanderIcon January 7th, 2010 | PostAuthorIcon Author : admin

Before you go about writing an article, you’ll want to do some keyword research. Keyword research is the practice of balancing the popularity of a keyword or search phrase against the competitiveness of the keyword phrase. You certainly wouldn’t want to spend a lot of time and money targeting keywords and phrases that no one is likely to use in a search. Likewise, if 80 million plus results come up when you search for your keyword phrase you may have a difficult time getting ranked for that competitive of a keyword

Keyword research is dome with the help of technique called KEI where K stands for Keyword, E stands for Effectiveness and I stands for Indicators. KEI is a number with two to four decimal places. Words that are rarely used in search will have a very small KEI (near 0) and keywords and phrases that are extremely competitive will also have a very low KEI. The higher the KEI the more likely it is that you can achieve top rankings for the keyword or phrase and it will be worth your while because enough searches are conducted to warrant giving the keyword some attention.

By knowing which keywords you want to focus on, the subject of your article will become apparent. Additionally you ‘ll know which words to work into your text (don’t overdo it) and you will also use those keywords as the anchor text (the words clicked) for any links in your article or your resource box.

How to Choose a Word Press Theme that Makes You Money Quickly

PostCleanderIcon January 5th, 2010 | PostAuthorIcon Author : admin

There are many a Wordpress theme.  How to choose one that will enhance the quality of your links and the propensity of people to buy is a task you need to undertake if you want to make money online.

Wordpress themes are available free online if you do a search.  The trick is that you have to leave the link to the developer intact.  If you don’t want to lose any link juice, you can have a wordpress theme developed just for you.

Here are some things to look for in a Wordpress theme ‘ how to choose the best one, in other words.

  • Probably the most important thing is that the browser is compatible across browsers.  When you build a site, look at it in Internet Explorer as well as Firefox.  Check it out on PCs and Macs if you can.  You don’t want anyone’s experience on your website to be diminished because the theme is not compatible with their browser.
  • The next feature you want to look for is the ability to add widgets to your word press theme.  One of the great features of the word press software is the availability of add on scripts called widgets.  These are extremely easy to upload.  But, if your theme can’t handle widgets easily, it’s not worth it, even if it has a nice look.
  • You want your word press theme to load quickly.  If people have to wait seconds to see your site, they will click the back button before you have the chance to make your case.  If you are using a free theme, try loading someone else’s site that uses the theme before you take the trouble to put it on your own site.  If the CSS is compressed, this can speed page load time.
  • Is the theme SEO optimized?  It doesn’t matter how good your content is if the search engines can’t find it.  Some things to check for as far as SEO compatible themes include an emphasis on content rather than graphics, have HTML validation, and should display post extracts on archive and category pages.
  • Make sure your word press theme has a search capability.  This is a basic item, but there are still some themes that don’t have the compatibility for search.
  • Is the theme already overused?  If too many marketers are already using the theme, your web site might have a ‘me too’feel.
  • If you plan to have ads on your site ‘ either banner ads or Adsense ‘ make sure that the theme supports them in its design.
  • Finally, can you grow with the design?  As your site develops, will you be able to keep the same look and feel?  You don’t want to surprise existing viewers with a new theme without a strategic marketing reason for it.

Choose wisely when selecting a word press theme.  How you make money off your site may depend on the theme you pick.

Google Rank Check How to See the Value Google Places on Your Page

PostCleanderIcon December 27th, 2009 | PostAuthorIcon Author : admin

Do you want to do a Google rank check?  Google’s page rank is a patented algorithm.  Google considers more than half a billion variables when determining your rank on the search results.

No one person knows what all of these variables are, not even the person who oversees the code.  So, anyone claiming to be a Google rank check authority should be viewed with caution.

Still, there are some things we do know about how page rank works.

Google flat out says that pages they believe are important get a higher page rank than others.  Pages with higher rank tend to appear higher in the search results, though you will see page rank 5 pages occasionally ranking higher than page rank 7 pages for a specific search.

Google also sees the links on a page acting as a ‘vote’ for other pages.  So, if a highly ranked page links to your site, you get more ‘juice’ out of it than when a friend with no page rank links to your site.

Most experts agree that backlinks from .gov and .edu sites to have higher link juice than other top level domains because they are restricted to not for profit sites.

One way to get .edu links is to take out online ads on college newspaper sites.

But, any links from PR 2 or higher sites can help your page rank.  One way to get links is to post comments on with decent page rank.  But make sure that Google ‘followsî’the links on the page first.  Some webmasters set their sites up so that you don’t get any link juice from your posts.  You can do this by downloading free software on the internet.

Other ideas for increasing page rank include:

  • Join forums and post a link back to your website in your signature.  Every time you make a post, you’ll get link juice.
  • Submit your site to directories.  Each directory which lists you will give you more of a chance of being listed higher in Google’s search results.
  • Add an ezine to your site.  Not only will this allow you to keep up with the people who visit your site, but you can also post information about your ezine to ezine directories.
  • Publish articles on the article sites.  You can drive traffic to your sites this way.  But, high PR article sites also give you link juice.
  • Create a sitemap on your website.  This lets Google know how to index your page.
  • Link to other pages within your web site.  Putting links to the internal pages within the web site allows you to increase your link juice.
  • Continue building pages within your site.  Every page you create and link back to your home page increases the strength of your home pageís PR.

To do a Google rank check, you can install the Google toolbar to your Firefox browser.  The tool is at http://www.google.com/tools/firefox/toolbar/FT3/intl/en/index.html -This will give you the page rank of every page you visit.

A Google rank check will allow you to know how your site is faring compared to similar sites.

Blog Software For All Your Blogging Needs

PostCleanderIcon December 24th, 2009 | PostAuthorIcon Author : admin

Today anyone who has writing ability or is dreaming to be a writer has written a blog in the net. There are blog soft wares that are simple and easy to use and a technically inclined and challenged individuals can easily acquire a blog online.

For some individuals, blogs are their projects of every day living, as they talk about their daily episodes as well as make tribute to friends and family. Furthermore, blogs assume a profound meaning written to compose and assemble political statements, endorse a product, supply information on research, and even offer tutorials. Any subject that are of your interests, you can be sure that someone has written a blog about it.

Blogs are now being written by musicians, politicians, sports figures, novelists, newscasters as well as other known figures. It is this blog fever that has raised controversy. The fact that anyone can compose and regarding any subject matter under the sun, complaints about certain write-ups are an issue. In a lot of blogs, names are being mentioned; do bear in mind that although you are entitled to write anything that interests you in a blog, you have to be very careful and take in a lot of responsibility. Do not make any statements which can become controversial; or else, be very prepared.

Why a Blog?

1.    For personal acquaintances, relationships and hobby. A person can write a blog about his daily activities, what’s going on with his life as his way of telling his family and friends the things that goes on in his life. Likewise, one may also write a blog just so he can express what he feels about himself, or about a certain subject matter that is of interest to him.

2.    Topical. Some blogs are committed to a precise topic, like computer hardware or politics. These are frequently read like magazines.

3.    For marketing.  Corporations are too, into blogging; when well written and implemented, this kind of blog can be a powerful instrument for business communications, forming eagerness and anticipation regarding their products and services offered, or used as tool within the company, keeping employees well informed about company issues and news.

Why someone else’s software?

A lot of Web designer and creators will laugh at the belief and idea of utilizing the software of someone else. This is can be correct especially when each software greatly differs from the particular requirements that a client may have. Yet on the other hand, when it refers to a Weblog software, there is no reason for apprehension in the use of a package that is pre-written, as most packages were developed through years of study; not just knocked together over a couple of days.

In addition, one may study its feature set. For a developer, it would take a lot of time and effort to write and compose from ìnothing at allî every single feature in the Weblog software packages of today. For most people, a blog is there for the main reason that chooses to publish or make known your literature and texts on the Web, so you want to spend your time more on writing than coding.

Hosted Services

If one wishes to start broadcasting on the Web, yet does not have web hosting, one can consider looking into a hosted service, which includes Blogger, TypePad, Live Journal, and more.

These services are operated or handled for an individual, so there is no need to concern one about technical upkeep of oneís Weblog; instead, one can concentrate on his blog’s appearance and content. In just minutes, after signing for an account, one can readily start his own blog.  Many such services are offered free, such as blogger.  TypePad charges a minimal amount for monthly service fee.

Self-Hosted

When one has Web hosting on hand, or is eager to buy hosting, in which one feesl that the advantage will prevail over the problems of keeping up your own blog connection and installation, then you may want to take into account a package that is self-hosted, which includes Movable Type, Textpattern and WordPress.

Other hosting companies did construct the process of installation easier, permitting installation with just a click from a control panel that is browser-based. It is important that you check with a hosting company so you can view if this function is offered. Similar to hosted services, some self hosted packages are made available either for free or for a certain fee which is dependent on the type of package that you choose as well as the basis why you are using it.

Killer Article marketing Strategy

PostCleanderIcon December 22nd, 2009 | PostAuthorIcon Author : admin

Article Marketing is now more popular than ever, the problem is most people don’t understand the whole science behind it.

This method requires an entire systematic procedure (for which there are many variations), it’s not just about submitting quality articles (although that’s a big part of it).

Article Marketing 101

This is a step by step procedure, follow it and I guarantee results.

Step 1 – Keyword Research And Implementation

A lot of people, especially IM beginners or newbies don’t get the entire concept behind the ‘keyword(s)’. There are many types of keywords, for this method we will be using one known as long tail keywords or keyword phrases.

To illustrate the process, I’m going to grab a random niche, a highly competitive one to show you that competition can only be good (because there is higher demand). The dating niche.

Now, head to your favourite keyword research tool (I use Google Keyword Suggestion Tool myself).

Here is where you will be doing all the research.

Your goal is to look for any long tail keyword related to the niche that has at least 10 daily search results (the more the better obviously) and LESS than 10,000 google competition (the less the better). Allow me to elaborate.

I typed the search term pick up in the keyword tool and a long list of all types of keywords displays, since we are looking for long tails it should be a phrase containing 2 or more words.

Here is one sweet talk pick up lines (yes that is ONE keyword) it has over 650 overall daily search results (an average between the top 3 search engines) and a whopping Google competition of 131 websites (note scarcasm).

Hint: There are many more profitable keywords in that list alone.

Some people are going to kill me for revealing that keyword, it has the potential of driving 650+ visitors to your website per DAY with ONE article.

How did I measure competition you may wonder? I went to Google and did a search for the keyword under quotation marks: “sweet talk pick up lines”

Step 2 – Source Research For Your Article

Naturally, to write an article around that keyword you need to know some sweet talk pick up lines, so you will want to do some research on it unless you are some sort of Casanova.

This is the most simple process, go to Google and type sweet talk pick up lines (without quotations this time), check about 5 sources, grab your favourite pick up lines and you are good to go.

Hint: A source can be anything from an encyclopaedia to an article.

Note that in this case, that was very easy research, sometimes you will need to do a more in depth investigation in order to pull out a great article.

Step 3 – Writing The Article

You don’t have to be a professional writer to pull off an amazing article, simply write the article as if you were speaking to a client verbally.

Don’t forget to make the article short (350-650 Words is my criteria), you don’t want the reader bored to death and leaving half way through (that accomplishes nothing) by making them read your college thesis.

The basic structure of an article is composed of 6 parts. In order:

1. Title or Headline

The keyword MUST go here, for example: Top 10 Sweet Talk Pick Up Lines To Capture Her Attention. Headlines are used to caputure the reader’s attention, in this case it is also used to optimize the article for the search engines.

2. Summary

The keyword doesn’t necessarily have to go in this one, it’s all about writing an appealing summary of your article. The summary is what will most likely show in the search engines under the title/headline of the article.

3. First Paragraph

Again, the keyword MUST go here once (don’t flood it). Make it interesting and appealing or the visitor/reader will leave.

4. Body

Add the keyword in this part once again and insert the sweet talk pick up lines you chose during your research.

5. Last Paragraph or Conclusion

This is where you close the reader. Add the keyword one last time and present a subtle lead to the resource box (where you promote your website).

6. Resource Box

The best article directories will only allow you to promote or advertise something in this space, it has to be appealing and it MUST have a clear call to action. This is where you add the link to your website (ideally in anchor text for a keyword you have your website optimized around for SEO purposes (mainly backlinking)).

Just as an example: “If you truly want to get the girl, go to this website now: [Insert Link in Anchor Text] It is the top resource on dating advice and tips courtesy of the leading dating guru.”

Step 4 – Submitting The Article

Great! Now you have created a very powerful article, it’s time to submit it. You can submit to as many article directories as you wish without any penalties (duplicate content does not apply unless you submit the same article under the same domain).

The leading article directory is Ezine Articles. Their customer support may not be the best, but no matter what people say it gives the best ROTI (Return Over Time Invested – It’s Free) and each day they become more strict on what articles to accept, so you won’t get away with crap articles (which is good, crap articles are useless).

After submitting to EZA and getting it approved, feel free to submit to as many article directories as you want.

Step 5 – Securing The Article’s Position In The Search Engines

Securing an article in #1 position for a specific keyword using the criteria stated above is VERY easy due to the low level of competition, you just need a few backlinks.

There is software out there (and services) that submit backlinks to over 100 social bookmarking websites, providing you with enough backlinks to secure the article in #1 position. The key to using these programs is:DON’T SPAM, just submit 1-3 backlinks per day at most.

When you do a backlink make sure it is linking to your article IN anchor text with the keyword used in the article.

That close to guarantees your search engine rankings because the competition for the search term(s) is low. Add a killer quality article to the mix and you will be getting backlinks from people you don’t even know for free.

Final Step – The Numbers Game

After all the steps above are met, it becomes a numbers game. Submit 100 articles using this method. Don’t panic just yet, let me show you why.

Let’s say all your articles average 100 views per day and you have a decent average CTR of 20% (these numbers are very common). 100 Views X 20% = 20 Unique Visitors Per Article X 100 Articles = 2,000 DAILYLaser Targeted Visitors (AKA Potential Buyers) to your website.

That is just an example using a below average scenario, the numbers may vary and if you stop submitting articles the traffic may go down (unless the keywords used continue to get the same number of daily hits).

This works for every single niche out there. And not only are you getting highly targeted traffic to your websites but you are also branding yourself as an expert in the niche(s) you chose. Enjoy!

Viral Marketing 101 – Not Using It Could Kill Your Business!

PostCleanderIcon December 16th, 2009 | PostAuthorIcon Author : admin

Creativity.

This is one virtue a site must possess to lead the race in the ruthless competition in the Internet based business. With so many competition and rivalry going on, every method of marketing must be employed and utilized.

It doesn’t matter if you have a killer product or a fantastically designed website, if people don’t know that you exist, it doesn’t matter, and you are not going to make it big. Worse of all, you business could just get killed.

While there are so many methods and schemes used by so many e-commerce sites today, there are still some of those that can help you with an extra boost in the popularity ratings. One of these is the so called Viral Marketing.

While the term Viral easily depicts a virus, a word very much dreaded by all computer owners, it is not what it seems. You do not actually use a computer virus to spread your business; on the contrary it just might kill you. Everyone has had enough of all those pop up ads and spywares.

Viral Marketing Overview

Viral Marketing also known otherwise as Viral Advertising is a marketing technique used to build the public awareness of one’s product or company. They use many forms of media to reach out to the public without actually promoting the product by riding on in other forms of addictive means that could get a person hooked and be obliged or amused to actually pass it on, with the product or company advertisement along with it.

In a nutshell, companies ride on the idea that if people like the content of a media they will pass it on to their friends and family. They sponsor the certain media, such as a cool flash game, funny video, amusing story and such, which one may pass on to another with the company brand or logo or the products description or any other content to help promote the company or its product.

Viral marketing has become a popular means of advertising and marketing because they are relatively low cost. To avoid being tagged as spam mail, viral marketing counts on the eagerness of one person to pas on the product. If a person sees the name of the person they know as the sender, they won’t block it and open it as well.

Many companies offer incentives such as discounts and rebates when they help in spreading their viral marketing. They rely on the number of recipients a viral marketing gets from one person in determining the amount or number of incentive they can be attributed with.

Using Viral Marketing to your advantage

The main and foremost advantage of viral marketing is that you get a lot of publicity and public awareness about your site and your company. You get to generate a flow of traffic that are potential customers. With a little ingenuity and imagination, plus some incentives or prizes, you can reach out to a great number of people and announce your existence.

Most every site and companies are catching on to the effectivity of Viral Marketing and Advertising. Not using it could kill your business. Along with other schemes and methods in promoting your site, like Search Engine Optimization and such, viral marketing could easily push you ahead in the rating games.

Viral Marketing could be a sneaky way to get people to know about you and your company. You get them to pass your advertisement along. They are also very low cost that not investing in it could be downright a business suicide. All it takes is a great idea, a good addicting game, a funny story many ideas are still out there. Create a gossip or a buzz, many movies are promoted by using scandals and gossips to make them more popular. Remember the movie ‘The Blair Witch Project’?

Many big companies have tried viral marketing and have had many success stories with it. A classic example is Microsoft’s Hotmail. They were the first known big company to utilize the scheme and it has worked wonders for them.

Now it’s your turn to use viral marketing to work wonders for you. Act now and reap the benefits Viral Marketing will provide for you and your sales figures.
